Yale Tissue Mapping Center for Cellular Senescence

Yale TMC Vision and Goals

In response to aforementioned challenges and the pressing unmet needs, Yale TMC aims to assemble a multidisciplinary team to: (a) collect, analyze, annotate, and share high quality non-diseased human primary (bone marrow and thymus) and secondary (tonsil and lymph node) lymphoid organ tissues, (2) develop and deploy a suite of high-resolution, high-content and high-throughput single-cell & spatial omics technologies to characterize these specimens and associated biofluid samples, and (3) perform integrated informatics analysis to identify biomarkers of senescent cell heterogeneity as well as to construct comprehensive molecular and cellular maps of cellular senescence and the associated environments in human bone marrow, thymus, tonsil, and LNs. These data, biomarkers and maps will be shared timely with SenNet and the large research community as a valuable resource to propel the field forward.
